From Dublin.
Distance: 134 miles / 215 km Time: 3 hours approximately.
Travelling out of the city follow signs for The West, this will lead to the N4 to Kinnegad, from there follow the signs for Galway which take the N6, this leads straight to Galway.

Before Galway City, you will approach a series of roundabouts: .
•N6 Junction with N18 At roundabout take 3rd exit .
•N6 Junction with N18 (north) At roundabout forward .
•N6 Junction with N6(East)/N6(West) At roundabout take 2nd exit .
•N6 Junction with R339 At roundabout take 2nd exit .
•N6 Junction for Galway City East At roundabout forward .
•R336 Junction with N17 At roundabout take 1st exit R336 (signposted City .
Centre) .
•R336 Junction with N6(East) At roundabout take 2nd exit .
•R336 you will arrive onto Eyre Square, the hotel is on the left handside of the Square.

From Shannon.

On leaving Shannon Airport, Galway will be clearly sign posted. You will be travelling on the N18 to Galway. From Clarinbridge, approach the city as follows: .

By Train.
There is a train service from Galway to Dublin with connections from other main towns and cities in the country.
